This past Friday, my friends, my Father, and I attended an open house event for Dr. Scholl’s Shoes at the Premium Outlets located in Ellenton, Florida. We were treated to a tour, a shoe trying on session, breakfast, and we also got to pick out a FREE pair of shoes to take home.
I knew that Dr. Scholl’s had products that are made to create comfort in your shoes, but I had no idea that Dr Scholl’s had a full retail shoe side and I definitely did not realize that their shoes were both trendy and comfortable.
Currently Dr. Scholl’s Shoes are sold online atdrschollsshoes.com and they have three retails locations located at Outlet Malls including theLas Vegas Outlet Center, San Marcos Outlet Shoppes, and the Premium Outlets of Ellenton. The interior of the store we visited had a retro feel with radio flyer wagons, bicycles, monopoly games, and other items that reminded me of the past. This very fitting since Dr. Scholl’s is a company with a long history, they have been in existence for over 100 years.
Here we are modeling a few pair of shoes.
I really had a great time trying on all of the different styles of shoes and I am pretty sure my friends did as well. Ultimately it came down to boots and sandals with heels for me, and since I am an open toed shoe kind of gal, I went for the Cabana Sandals.
My friends were definitely interested in the boots and ironically ended up with a pair of boots called Interest Boots. One got a black pair and the other a gray pair.

Of course, I can’t leave out my father. I think he enjoyed trying on the different shoes as much as we girls did. Plus, since he has trouble with his feet, this was really a great opportunity for him to find a shoe that he would feel comfortable in. He did find a style that he liked, and since the color was not in stock, the staff was very accommodating and ordered one to be shipped directly to his home.

I was really impressed with the Dr. Scholl's shoes. I had previously thought of them as an "old person" shoe. However my opinion has been completely flipped around! Not only does Dr. Scholl's sell cute and trendy shoes but they are also VERY comfortable. I Never would have thought that a heel could feel like a sneaker. The selection is incredible! There were so many cute, comfortable shoes that I had a very hard time deciding on just one pair! I will definitely be back to Dr. Scholl's they have a shoe for every season for me!
