Baked Salmon with a Dill Mustard Sauce on Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads Garlic Naan paired with Steam Veggies.
Thanks to Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads I was sent a package with an assortment of Tandoori Baked Naan to review here on Frugal and Fun Mom.
This Tandoori Naan is an authentic Indian bread baked at extreme high heat to produce big bubbles, airy texture, and a delicious smoky flavor. It is hand stretched and made with all natural ingredients including traditional fresh buttermilk and ghee (clarified butter). Source Stonefire.com.
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads Tandoori Baked Naan come in 4 flavors Original, Garlic, Sweet Chili, and Whole Grain and retail for $2.99.
Naan can be used to create a Pizza, Panini, or a sandwich also known as a Naanwich. As an alternative, it can also be used as a substitute for rolls, or as a dipping item. It can be prepared in the microwave, toaster, grill, or oven. I ate my bread plain and I used it in sandwiches.
I prepared baked salmon (as per the instructions from the seafood market) and created a sandwich with the Naan. I topped it with romaine lettuce and a dill mustard sauce (1 tsp mustard, 3 heaping tsp of mayo, and 1/8 tsp of dried dill), I used a package of the Sweet Chili and the Garlic varieties. Each package was cut into enough portions to serve 4 adults and 2 children. All I had to do for the bread was simply heat it in the oven for couple of minutes.
I invited my in-laws over for dinner, and since the Naan bread had such a great favor, everyone was impressed by the taste and my cooking ability. I really liked the ease of preparation.
Pulled pork on Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads Original Naan.
I also prepared Pulled Pork and served it on the Original Naan. This worked as a great alternative to the hamburger buns I would normally use. Here is a link to my recipe Pulled Pork Recipe.
My kids already asked me to pick up some more Naan the next time I go to the store.
