Curb Appeal Tru Green

When selling your home, making money is as important as saving money!

When my husband and I were out looking to purchase a home a few years back, one of the things I checked for was a well maintained yard. Personally, I did not want to spend a lot of money on lawn repair, I wanted to move to a house with nice thick grass, limited weeds, and established beds around the home.  We were fortunate to find a great house that had all of these things, plus it was really clean and had nice upgrades on the inside.

Recently TruGreen commissioned a Lawn Lifestyles Survey that revealed that the majority of Americans surveyed (72 percent) said “it takes seconds to form a first impression about the outside of a home” and those impressions take root, as over one-third (38 percent) said “once I’ve formed an opinion about a home’s appearance, it is hard to change my mind.” In fact, more than half of Americans surveyed (53 percent) said “the quality of the homeowner’s lawn can tell you a lot about the quality of the home overall.”
