Thanks to Toy State, I was provided 2 vehicles to review here on Frugal and Fun Mom. Opinions expressed in this post are that of my own.

Boy with Road Rippers Hatchback

Do your kids like toys that play music, have lights, or move? Well mine do, and Toy State has a variety of new vehicles that do those fun things.

There is a line of vehicles called Road Rippers and we got to play with the MINI Countryman WRC Hatchbacks. These cars come with a unique rotating speaker bed that changes into 3 different styles.  Simply pop the trunk and the speakers rotate out to play tunes.  It also moves when manually pushed and it has blinking lights.  Road Rippers come in a Ford Fiesta version as well,  and are intended for children 3 and up.  Suggested Retail Price is $9.99.

Road Rippers Hatchback

My son likes this car because it plays music.  I like it because it has flashing lights and is a cool looking vehicle.

007 toy car

We also got to check out the Casino Royale Aston Martin DB5 007 car.

In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, Danjaq LLC, the film production company, has partnered with Toy State to roll out a line of toy cars under the 007™ brand. The 007car is intended for children ages 6 and up and has motorized driving action.  It also comes with working head and tail lights, vehicle sounds, and the classic James Bond Theme music.

The 007 car is available in 4 models including the Aston Martin DBS (Quantum of Solace), Aston Martin DB5 (Casino Royale), Lotus Esprit (The Spy Who Loved Me) and the featured car from the latest installment of the James Bond franchise, Skyfall.  These vehicles are available for purchase through Toy State Cars and the Suggested Retail is $12.99.

Kids playing with 007 Car

My kids were fighting over this car.  Why wouldn’t they, it is a sports car, it plays music, and it moves on its own.  They don’t necessarily appreciate that it is from a James Bond movie, however I know a few Dad’s out there who would like to own this regardless of the fact that it is a toy.

Check out the following video of my kids demonstrating the cars!

My also kids decided to pretend that the 007 car was the good guy and it was on a high-speed chase around the bedroom going after the Hatchbacks.  They had a great time with this adventure, and I really like that these cars are keeping them entertained.
