Campbells Slow Kettle Soups

Thanks to Campbell’s and Smiley360 , I received samples of Campbell’s Slow Kettle Style Soups to test and review here on Frugal and Fun Mom.

I got to try 3 different varieties that included Braised Beef Stew, Tomato & Sweet Basil Bisque, and Southwest-Style Chicken Chili. In regards to taste, the Southwest-Style Chicken Chili was absolutely delicious and full of chunks of chicken, pieces of corn and plenty of beans. The Tomato & Sweet Basil Bisque reminded me of a gourmet soup that I would find in a restaurant.  It has pieces of tomato and was a little spicy. The Braised Beef  Stew was full of big chunks of meat and veggies. Not only did I enjoy these soups, but so did my kids. Each container of soup is microwavable and enough for me to share.

I was recently selected to host a MommyParties Event for Nutella in March.  I had never tried Nutella before, so I was excited to check the product out.

Of course once I said I was having the party, I had people telling me how good it was, so I couldn’t wait to try it.

If you have never tried Nutella (like myself) it is a Hazelnut Spread made with Skim Milk and Cocoa. It can be used as a dip for fruits, a spread on toast, or an alternative to what you might use peanut butter for.

Needless to say, I was thrilled when my party package came because it contained a bunch of Coffee Tumbler Mugs, Spreaders, Samples, $1.00 off coupons. Plus, there was information about Nutella including recipe cards with great breakfast ideas!
There was enough of each to create goody bags for 10.  Plus, there was a full size container of Nutella for the hostess to use at the event.
And you know as soon as the package came, I had to break out one of the samples and try it for myself.
At the party, everyone enjoyed experimenting with the different dipping items, and we also discussed great recipes for breakfast.

One breakfast recipe idea was to toast 2 whole grain waffles, spread one with Nutella, sprinkle with fresh fruit and coconut. Top with remaining waffle and cut like a sandwich. Doesn’t that sound yummy?

If you haven’t had a chance to try Nutella yet, check out their website at nutellaUSA.com for a $1.00 off coupon available for a limited time.  And for more information about the company, also check them out on Facebook.
