Now I have to admit, that when Haan contacted me about reviewing this product, I really got excited. The idea that I could sweep and steam at the same time, was awesome! And, since I would normally have to vacuum the entire area first and then go back and either mop or steam mop, I was looking forward to reducing my cleaning time. Plus, with baby #3 on the way, I can use any help I can get.

The day the Haan Total HD 60 Sweep Steamer came. I used it immediately!

As soon as my floor steam cleaner came via delivery guy, I immediately put it to the test.

I tried it out on the various surfaces in my home including hard wood floors, tile, slate, and an area rug. I am happy to say that it worked, and I am really impressed with the amount of steam that comes out.

Keep in mind, I normally vacuum twice a week since I have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 kids, and once during this time, I mop and the other time, I use the vacuum attachment to get under chairs and other furniture. With a sweeper, you can only get so far under these, so I will continue to do this once a week. But going forward, I will be substituting the Haan Total HD 60 Sweep Steamer for my vacuuming and mopping day.

Sweeps and steams at the same time
Can sweep or steam separately
Comes with 2 – 4 layer pads that are washable
Has a removable tank for tap water
Comes with a solution to clean out sediment from the steam function
Has a storage hook
Has a pad to prevent damage to floors while the steamer is heating up

Has a removable canister for the dirt collected by the sweeper

What I like most about this product:

It kills 99.9% of germs without chemicals.
It cuts my regular cleaning time in half.
The steam is powerful so it is easier to remove dried on dirt.
The water appears to last longer in this steamer as compared to my stand alone steamer.
It has a nice long cord so I do not have to constantly unplug to find a new outlet
It has a removable water tank so it saves on energy (which is better for the environment). If I don’t need to use all of the water, I simply remove the tank and dump it out versus having to let all the steam get it out.
