KD Novelties Personalized Children’s Books offered to send me a copy of one of their personalized books to review. I knew my son would get a kick out of seeing his name in print, so I made arrangements to get their “Santa Book” set up in his name.
The process involved furnishing my son’s name Joey and the names of 3 other relatives. About a week and half later I received a customized book with my son’s name it, with our city, and my husband’s, my daughter’s, and my name in it.
Here is an excerpt from the book:
“Ho! Ho! Ho!” Welcomed Santa. “You arrived just in time. I need your help, Joey.” Santa Book, Story and Illustrations by Amy Bryant.
When the book came, I opened it up and read the first page to my son. I read his name and his eyes lit up and he immediately grabbed the book from me and started turning the pages saying J-O-E-Y. We have always made up stories with him being the main character, but this was the first time that his name was actually in print.
As you can see, as Dad reads, both my son and daughter are engrossed in the book.
