A month or so ago, I posted a FREE Printable Kid’s Tooth Brushing Chart at the page.

FYI, it is still available, CLICK HERE–> FREE Personalized Kid’s Tooth Brushing Chart! A Fun Way To Motivate Them To Brush.

I printed it out for my kids as well, and told them if they completed it for an entire month, I would take them to the Dollar Tree to pick out an item.  I put it in their bathrooms, and gave them crayons to fill it out each day.

About half way through they had a dentist appointment, and they took it along to show their progress, and of course the office praised them for making the commitment to brush their teeth twice a day.

Well, it is has been a month later, they completed the tooth chart, and last week I took them to the store to get their prize.  I even gave them the money to purchase their item as well and a made sure they understood exactly why they were getting it.

I love it when I can really use a FREEBIE for the benefit of my kids! It was a proud moment for all of us!

My 6 year old son just had a milestone!

The first official tooth has fallen out.  He was so excited that it was loose, and now he can’t wait to take it to school on Monday to show his classmates.

He is probably one of the last kids in his class to lose a tooth and I think he was starting to think there was something wrong with him.  I told him it was because he has taken such good care of his teeth, that they did not want to come out.

I reminded him not to lose it any further (which he already did once today, thankfully I have good eyes), because we will need to put it under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy.

So that made me think of 2 questions to ask:

When did your kids lose their first tooth?

And, what amount did you leave under your kid’s pillow from the Tooth Fairy?

I’d love for you to leave a comment below.
